How to Print Business Cards at Home
Arrange exact-size business cards on Letter or A4, add cutting guides, and measure one card before printing the full batch.
Choose the finished business-card size
Start with the size the card should have after cutting. A common US size is 3.5 × 2 in. A common metric size is 85 × 55 mm. Use the size required by your design, cardholder, or print shop.
PrintGrid Pro keeps that physical size while it works out how many copies fit on the selected paper.
Upload one card and repeat it across the sheet
Choose Flat and Repeat one, then upload the finished PDF, PNG, or JPEG. Select Letter or A4 to match the paper in the printer.
Ten 3.5 × 2 in cards can fit on US Letter, and ten 85 × 55 mm cards can fit on A4 when the margins, gaps, bleed, and cutting guides leave enough room. The preview shows the count for your actual settings.
Add a Back only when you need one
For a single-sided card, check the Front and continue. For a double-sided card, choose Double and add the matching Back after the Front.
Choose long-edge or short-edge turning, inspect both preview pages, and print one test sheet before using the full stack of cardstock.
Leave room for cutting
Use a small gap when you want space between cards. Turn on trim marks or trim lines when you need printed cutting guides.
If color reaches the edge, the source artwork must extend through the bleed area. Bleed cannot create background that is missing from the uploaded design.
Print one card at the exact size
Create the PDF, select the same paper size in the print window, and choose Actual size or 100%. Do not choose Fit to page, because it can shrink the cards.
Cut and measure one card before printing the full batch. Also check that text and logos have enough space from every finished edge.
